YScape is developing narrative-led learning and assessment experiences that make thinking visible through play. Our first exploration begins with middle-school and high school Science, but the larger vision extends beyond any one subject. By removing the pressure of the "test," we surface true cognitive patterns.
Each mission is a real scientific mystery. Not a problem with only one correct answer - something that needs actual reasoning. The struggle is the point, not an obstacle to learning.

Our consulting arm - YScape Measurement Lab - works with education organizations, foundations, and schools on large-scale assessment programs, psychometrics, assessment design, curriculum review, and program evaluation. We bring rigorous measurement to questions that conventional testing does not answer well.
